Someone wrote “HELP” in a forum since they weren’t making money on the Internet.
You probably have seen a post like this one over and over again.
“I need some help or advise. I have set up my (name of site removed) site 2 weeks ago.” This person also submitted to search engines had sine visitors to their page and spent a large amount of time setting up the site and promoting the site and was getting frustrated because of no sales.
My response to the forum post was:
Two weeks is really a very small amount of time.
If you submit to search engines don’t expect an immediate response since they have to scan your site for things such as content, meta tags, images and the such. – Remember Content is King to rank in the top pages of search engines. I have had several top ranking keywords but these constantly change.
There are several methods of getting keywords to the top quickly even with free methods but remember free usually has a cost associated with them either your time or your money.

It took me about a month to receive my first sale and I was Co-op advertising with ProfitMart.com but after that period of time I started on the plus side of profit.
My goal was to make money within the first 6 months. I realize that money can be a problem but remember you are starting a new business.

A standard business takes about 3 years before they are in the black. So be realistic with your goals.
One suggestion is to look for a niche that isn’t so competitive and unfortunately the “I want to make money” niche is probably the most difficult but if you can break into it, it is one of the most profitable.
Make goals such as try to make $1.00 in the first month and grow from their.
ProfitMart.com is a wonderful tool that can make you money but don’t expect the “I make $3,000 a day” to happen overnight since that kind of money has some costs associated with it and a large number of individuals will never reach a goal that high. (but there are some that do and that is the hook that catches some thinking they also can achieve this goal without the knowledge on how to do it.)

Yes I realize this may not be overly encouraging but think of it this way: Who won the race the tortoise or the hare?
The tortoise because he went at a slow and steady pace. The hare lost since went so fast and stopped to have a rest in a sense he flamed out.
Be the tortoise and hopefully your turtle shell will be stuffed full of paper um with dollar bills printed on it.
