Saving the Planet one Piece of Paper at a Time

Today the planet is in trouble.

Billions of plastic bags fill landfill sites every year. Pollution threatens the very fabric of every ecosystem on the planet. Paper, batteries, pens and paperclips all cause problems.

What can we do to help aleviate the situation?

By conservation, conserving, reducing, recycling and reusing.

When you print out some paperwork on your printer do you have blank space on the page or on the backside of the sheet when only one site is printed?

What we have been doing is to reuse the printed page making note paper from a sheet that has no sensitive material on it. If there happens to be sensitive material on the sheet of paper then it would be best to shred the sheet and then recycle the paper.

Recycle everything you can instead of putting everything you can in the trash.

One of our businesses is a ecommerce site that uses cardboard. Instead of purchasing new cardboard we go to a local grocery store that gives away their boxes. We cut up the boxes and use any appropriate sized boxes for shipping our product out and any waste from the boxes is then recycled.

It takes more time to recycle but the benefits are beyond measure especially if every one on the planet starts to save the planet one piece of paper at a time.

Please leave comments on how you are saving the planet even if it is just a piece of paper.

Sincerely,

Bryan
