Recently, James Grandstaff revealed something
that I found quite interesting…

Generating New Network Marketing Leads

During the past year, one woman in southern California has discovered a good deal about generating new network marketing leads. She has not been part of any MLM marketing scheme. She has not tried to sell any particular product. How then did she come to acquire a keener insight into the generation of new network marketing leads?

About four years ago, the same woman was trying to launch herself on a career in freelance writing. She wanted to see her name on published articles. With that hope in mind, she submitted some articles to a particular website. It was a website that promised to share the articles with the men and women who created the many emailed newsletters.

One of those articles was about her own experiences as the mother of a boy in the local Middle School. The son of the aspiring writer had taken the woodshop course at the Middle School. Without giving any thought to the creation of new network marketing leads, the mother and writer had composed a short article about the local wood shop teacher, a man who wanted to be know as ?Woody.? About three years after submitting that article to one selected website, the writer began to hear from newsletter writers.

Those newsletter writers appeared to be intent on generating new network marketing leads. They wanted to find woodworking experts who could be mentioned in a newsletter, a newsletter about some area that related to woodworking.

This example reveals some important facts about the generation of new network marketing leads. Obviously, one can locate some leads by reading a newsletter. One can also make contact with potential leads by actually writing for a newsletter.

In fact, diligent use of both reading and writing should always remain among the techniques that are under consideration by anyone who wants to create a longer and stronger marketing network. That diligent use of reading and writing does not need to be confined to the reading and writing of newsletters. .

Suppose that you are an expert in some field, and you want to use your expertise, in order to market a certain product. You might want to read some books by other experts, and then to review those books. Posted reviews can help a marketer to gain exposure. How to Build Your MLM Downline

Some have suggested that the growth of a powerful MLM downline can begin with contacts made in the home and in the workplace. That might be the case, if one lives or works with others who feel passionate about selling. While friends and family might be the easiest people to contact, they are not always the best people to put on a leads list. The sponsor becomes a sort of overseer, someone who has reason to inquire about the success of the sponsored salesperson. The sponsor might be seen as a sort of supervisor. Now be honest, would you want to have a supervisor who lacked intelligence and motivation?

No doubt, you have admitted to yourself that you would never want such a supervisor. Knowing that, the sponsor of each new member of the sales force should strive to display both intelligence and motivation. In that way, each potential sponsor should receive more affirmative answers, after asking others to min the growing team of salespeople.

The real trick to building an MLM downline incorporates the use of qualifying material. The potential sponsor must appear qualified to take on a role that corresponds to the role of a supervisor. How then can a potential sponsor create such qualifying material?

It would also cause the new sales people to identify with their sponsor That sort of identification has proven to be a key factor in the creation of strong and useful leads, leads to a longer MLM downline.

How Does Multi-Level Networking Work?

Networking facilitates the linking of various people. As those people become more familiar with each other, they learn their diverse strengths. Networking seeks to maximize the use of those strengths, thereby encouraging an optimization of the human resources available to any company or institution.

In multi-level networking, the linking of various people takes place on distinct and separate levels. Multi-level networking has become a favored technique among sales groups, especially sales groups that employ multi-level marketing (MLM for short) techniques.

Multi-level marketing (MLM for short) creates a hierarchy of sales people. Those at the top of that hierarchy are those who were the first to strike out on their own. They were also the first to make use of the methods called-for in multi-level networking.

In multi-level marketing each of the salespeople has two goals. One goal relates to sales figures. The salespeople aspire to sell a profitable amount of a given product. Yet those same salespeople also have a second goal, one that relates to the networking abilities.

By employing the techniques of multi-level networking, each salesperson is encouraged to recruit more sales people. Under the rules of multi-level marketing (MLM for short), a portion of the sales from each new recruit goes to the person who recruited him (or her). Because a salesperson interacts with so many customers, they too are given incentives to become part of the growing sales network.

A system that relies on multi-level networking needs to develop as many rewards as possible for those who do network constantly with others. Salespeople often receive added incentive to network with customers. They frequently have a special offer that they can give customers.

In a sales system based on multilevel marketing (MLM for short), each customer must be viewed as a potential new member of the sales force. Each new customer might thus be told the he (or she) will enjoy a price reduction on the available product, if that same customer can turn around and recruit more salespeople.

Any sales system that relies heavily on the use of networking can easily morph into a pyramid system. Each group of networked salespeople represents a unique pyramid. The salesperson who took the first networking moves sits at the top of each pyramid.

In such a pyramid system, not much attention is paid to the quality of the product that is being sold. That is the weakness in the pyramid system. The product itself does not generate a great deal of income, only the contacts achieved by networking bring a real reward to each salesperson.

Consider then what could happen if some one low down on the pyramid suddenly ceased to make efforts to network with others. Consider what would happen if those lower down on the pyramid suddenly quit selling the single offered product. That would cut-off the income going to those at the top of the pyramid.

That then is the danger to which salespeople are exposed, if they choose to enter a system based on multi-level marketing (MLM for short),. If exercised to the extreme, there comes a point at which the structure created by multi-level networking no longer works as well as it once did.
