Are you tired of all the Advertising that says: “Is This a SCAM”?

Are you tired of all the Advertising that says: “Is (Product Name) a SCAM”? or Don’t Buy (Product) unless you read this first or Product Review. Another one is the product name then a question mark ? and the word Lies in the title of the ad an example can be ” Keyword Elite ? Lies “.

The truth is I use Keyword Elite and like it. It works very well for me to find keywords etc. but LIES is just a ploy to get you to take a look at the ad. Then they tell you about how great it is and that they will give you something if you purchase from their link. Usually some sort or report, second rate software or something that gives you a perceived value which is much more than the products are really worth but that is my opinion. Most of the give aways are or were PLR products or some type of product to advertise to you more products you can purchase. Also within the landing page mild profanity is quite often used this adds as the copywriter feels a air of truth or believability. You swear and so it is true. Not to mention some of the people using the ad copy don’t even own the software or ebook they are trying to push or have never seen some of the products they are pushing other that the website where you can purchase the product and the promo material.

The same goes for reviews quite often a review isn’t written by the person who has the web page you are visiting or the rating could be pure fabrication made up to influence the reader to purchase.

I know I get tired of seeing this type of advertising and it permeates ever corner of the net today.

Why is it used?

Because the human animal is curious and likes to hear dirt on things. The term SCAM perks up our interest and we just want to know what they are talking about. You go to a landing page and more highly developed advertising copy trying to entice you into purchasing some product you may not even need.

Hopefully my ramblings haven’t discouraged you but I am tired of all the hype and none of the content. It is true though that there are many excellent programs, software products and ebooks but be aware you may get a few advertisers who will hype the product give it some spin and then take advantage of the unwary consumer.

Sincerely,

Bryan
